Robert J. Meredith

Robert J. “Bob” Meredith is a lifelong resident of Lima, Ohio, whose legal practice is built on helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate important life and business decisions with confidence.

A graduate of Lima Senior High School, Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1983. While at Ohio State, he was a four-year varsity letter winner on the Buckeye swimming team, an experience that instilled the discipline, commitment, and teamwork that continue to guide his legal practice.

Following graduation, Bob worked as a paralegal with a prominent Columbus law firm before earning his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 1988, where he also served on the Capital University Law Review.

For more than three decades, Bob has concentrated his practice in estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate, and business law. He is also a licensed title agent and part owner of Benchmark Title LLC.

Bob is an active leader within Ohio’s legal community. He is a member of the Allen County Bar Association, where he has chaired the Probate Committee, and the Ohio State Bar Association. For more than twenty years, he has served on the Council of the Probate, Trust and Estate Planning Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, helping review and advocate for legislation that strengthens Ohio’s probate and estate planning laws. He is also a frequent lecturer on estate planning and real estate topics for attorneys, professionals, and community organizations. His articles have been published in The Probate Law Journal of Ohio, a respected publication for probate practitioners.

Committed to giving back to his hometown, Bob has serves in numerous leadership roles throughout the Lima community. He currently serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, co-chairs the Lima Community Aquatic Park Endowment Committee, and is an advisory board member to a local bank.

Bob resides in Lima with his wife of 38 years and they have one son.
