Ryan J. Warnecke

Most people don’t think about estate planning until they have to — and by then, the stakes are already high. Ryan Warnecke has focused his practice to help people in exactly that moment.

Whether a family is watching a parent’s health decline and scrambling to figure out how to pay for a nursing home, or a couple is sitting down for the first time to think about what happens when they’re gone, Ryan brings calm, clarity, and a plan. He’s helped clients through the full spectrum, from years-ahead preparation to last-minute emergencies, and he knows that behind every legal document is a family trying to do what is right for their particular families.

Ryan’s practice centers on estate planning, nursing home planning, and probate and trust administration. Ryan also works with small business owners on formation and compliance, and handles general real estate matters. In addition, Ryan helps individuals and businesses navigate a variety of real estate issues including contract negotiations, easements, lot splits, and closings.

In addition to his law practice, Ryan is the President of Benchmark Title LLC. Benchmark Title offers real estate services such as title searches, title insurance, closing coordination, and escrow.

Ryan earned his degree in Family Financial Planning from The Ohio State University — giving him a financial lens most attorneys don’t have — before going on to earn his law degree from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law. Ryan is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Allen County Bar Association, and the Van Wert County Bar Association.

Ryan believes a strong community starts with the youth. Ryan serves on the boards of the Delphos Baseball and Softball Association and the Delphos Youth Football Association. He also volunteers coaching baseball, football and basketball for the youth programs.
